About AI Resume Review

AI Resume Review is a small web app for people who need a resume today—not after wrestling with a desktop editor or a paywall. You type your history, ask for a rewrite, and export a PDF from the browser.

What we optimize for

How the AI rewrite is constrained

The rewrite prompt bans the tics that make AI-written resumes easy to spot — "results-driven professional," "proven track record," stacked adjectives, and vague impact claims with no number attached. It tightens your wording; it does not invent achievements. If a bullet has no metric, the rewrite will not conjure one, because a fabricated number in an interview is worse than a modest true one on paper. The offline mode applies the same rules deterministically, so the free path and the API path produce the same style.

Why session-only drafts are a feature

A resume is a dense bundle of personal data — employment history, location, sometimes salary hints. We keep drafts in browser session storage instead of an account database because data we never hold is data we cannot leak, sell, or be subpoenaed for. The cost is honest: close the tab and your draft is gone. Export early and often.

What we are not

We are not a placement agency and we do not guarantee interviews. Scores are heuristic checks—useful nudges, not hiring decisions. Always verify names, dates, and metrics before you send a file.
