What this does that most free builders do not
Most free resume builders ask you to retype your whole history, then charge at the download step. This one imports the resume you already have, and the export is your browser's own print dialog. There is nothing to pay at the end because there is no server holding your file hostage.
The second difference is what the AI receives. A rewrite needs your bullet points. It does not need your name, phone number, email, or the companies you worked for. So the builder strips those fields in the browser before the request leaves, and re-attaches them locally when the rewritten text comes back. What "ATS-friendly" actually means
Applicant tracking systems parse resumes into structured fields, and parsing fails on layout rather than on wording. The usual culprits are multi-column layouts that scramble reading order, text hidden in headers and footers, tables, graphics, and section names the parser has never seen. That is why the output here is a deliberately boring single-column document under conventional headings.
Claims that specific "ATS keywords" guarantee passage are mostly folklore sold by resume services. Mirroring the job description's actual vocabulary does matter. No tool can promise you a ranking, and the ones that advertise a pass rate are describing their own scoring, not any real employer's system.
